Super Bowl Workout Smoothie

Super Bowl comes once a year and the hype is always a huge!  So are the parties, friendly pick-up games and the huge buffets of food!

Most of us will indulge and then make a full-court press the next day to exercise.  Some of us will just go for a walk-and other will hit the gym.  It doesn’t matter what you do–as long as you do it, but make sure after you exercise to replenish your body with the vitamins and nutrients it needs.

Make up a quick smoothie using either fresh or frozen fruits for you and your work out partner!   Mix together:

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of peaches or apricots (or a mixture of both)
  • 2 medium bananas  or the equivalent in frozen banana chips
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 cup of soy milk
  • 1 Tablespoon of Mila

If the fruit is frozen there is no need to add any ice, but you might need to add a few cubes while you are mixing.  This will give you the energy you need to replenish you body and a smoothie you will want to make again!
