This is a delicious healthy yogurt smoothie that makes a healthy snack idea. Quick, easy and really great as a breakfast smoothie or late evening snack too. Don’t forget to add the lemon, it gives this yogurt smoothie a nice zing
In your smoothie blender, mix:
- 1/2 cup frozen blackberries
- 1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup of frozen banana chunks
- 1 teaspoon of chia seed for much needed Omega 3s!
- 1 tablespoons of lemon juice with a teaspoon of lemon zest
- Add a tablespoon of honey if you want to add a sweet touch – or use vanilla yogurt
