Morning Apple Healthy Smoothie

Even in the winter, most of us can find delicious apples at the store or fruit stands.  And, keeping in mind that “An apple a day keeps the doctor away,” many of us buy them automatically.  Tomorrow morning, mix it up a bit and combine a delicious tart apple with orange juice and bananas in a smoothe-it will definitely be a treat you will want to keep on your favorite breakfast list! 

In your smoothie blender mix:

- 1 cup of frozen bananas
- 1 tart Granny Smith green apple peeled, cored and cut in chunks
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 1 teaspoon of chia seed for Omega 3′s
