

Nectarines are a fruit similar to a peach, a bit heartier with a smoother flavor, juicy and often quite sweet. They also are a good source of vitamin C.
This spring when you find them in the store, bring home a few and make a smoothie for desert in place of peach pie!
Mix in your smoothie blender:
-3 nectarines, peeled and de-stoned
-1 cup of frozen banana chips
-1 cup of low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt
-1 tablespoon Chia Seed
