Orange Berry Yogurt Smoothie

This is an easy to make breakfast smoothie, that will give you a morning boost full of Vitamin C, antioxidants, calcium  and omega 3s.  Perfect choice for getting the fruit nutrition we need whether we are counting calories to lose weight or just looking for healthy snack ideas.  To make a delicious yogurt smoothie for two or three servings, mix in your smoothie blender:

July 19- 1 1/2 cups fresh berries ( you can use frozen if you need to-both are wonderful sources for the antioxidants we need daily)

- 1 cup of low-fat vanilla yogurt

- 1 cup of chilled orange juice (really good with the pulp!)

- 2 teaspoons of chia seed (for omega 3s!)
Note: If you use frozen berries, start with only 1/2 cup of juice and add as needed. Frozen fruit often reduces the amount of liquids you need to make the smoothie mixture you like best.
