If you are counting calories to lose weight, but also looking for meals or healthy snack recipes that keep you energized and don’t leave you feeling hungry try this fruit smoothie.  It will fill you up, give you the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that we all so need for healthy living–and adding chia seed gives you a big boost of omega 3s!  In your smoothie blender mix:

-1/2 cup of cold orange juice with pulp
-1 cup of grated carrots
-1 cup of low-fat orange yogurt
-1 tsp.chia seeds for even more nutrition including the all important omega-3 fatty acids
