Peach Cranberry Smoothie Recipe

Cold, refreshing and just the perfect smoothie to enjoy for an afternoon snack!  Enjoy the taste of fresh peaches which are low in calories, provide Vitamins, C and A, and high in fiber, mixed with cranberries rich with antioxidants.  These delicious fruits build your immune system, and are reported to boost your cardiovascular system and fight some cancers.  A Peach Cranberry Smoothie is a winning combination that is healthy, delicious and very easy to make!

In your blender combine:

  • 2 large cold peaches, cored, and  cut in chunks (or if peaches are not in season, 1 ½ cups of frozen or canned peaches
  • ­¼ cup of cold cranberry sauce.  You can use fresh cranberries that you have cooked down or canned cranberry sauce
  • ­1 cup cold cranberry juice

Blend these ingredients on in your blender, adding about 4-6 ice cubes until smooth.  Pour into chilled glasses and serve.
