Greek Yogurt Smoothie With Banana And Carrots

A Greek yogurt smoothie is different from the normal yogurt because it has been filtered through cloth or paper to remove the whey. The process results in a consistency in between yogurt and cheese but still with the yogurt taste.

This recipe uses Greek yogurt as well as carrots and banana for a unique mixed fruit and vegetable smoothie.

-1 carrot, scrubbed and cut in chunks
-1 cup of frozen banana chips or 2 small fresh bananas
-1 cup of low-fat Greek yogurt
-1 teaspoon of chia seed for heart healthy omega 3′s
