Healthy Spinach Smoothie

Spinach, which is rich in iron gives you natural energy that is so important for your day. This healthy smoothie is a perfect eye-opener!

The vegetables and spinach are the perfect blend for the perfect morning breakfast smoothie.  Place the ingredients in blender and blend on high speed.

  • 1 cup of pineapple chunks-fresh, frozen or canned
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 4 fresh mint leaves
  • ½ teaspoon of ginger
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 teaspoon of Chia seed to add rich nutrients and antioxidants

Put off to the side 8 ounces of cold water.  As are mixing the smoothie, add as much of the 8 ounces of cold water that you need to make the smoothie the consistency you like the best.

Don’t forget-you can control your blood pressure, increase your energy, and lower your cholesterol by adding Chia to your diet every day. There is no easier way than adding a teaspoon or more to any fruit smoothie recipe.
