High in beta carotene, vitamin C, and a cehmical called sulforaphane which is thought to have substantial anti-cancer properties. In this smoothie, Kale is combined with spinach, banana, and apple for a very tasty and very healthy recipe.
-1 cup kale loosely packed
-1 cup baby organic spinach loosely packed
-1 frozen banana (pre-sliced)
-1 apple
-1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
-1/2 cup skim milk
-1 tablespoon Chia seed
-5-6 ice cubes
