

The food markets and grocery stores are featuring luscious pears and grapes right now. Combined, they make a wonderful smoothie that is not only tasty, but very healthy too! After walking tomorrow, working out or just as a healthy snack idea, in your smoothie blender mix:
-1 ripe pear, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
-1/2 cup green seedless grapes (hint: grab a handful and put in the freezer before using)
-1 small ripe banana (or if using frozen 1/2-3/4 cup of banana chips)
-1/4 cup chilled cranberry juice (or apple cranberry tastes good too!)
-1 teaspoon of chia seed
