This smoothie recipe comes from annies-eats.net. In the original recipe, she used ground flax seed but, if you have been following us for any time at all, you know that we really prefer Chia seed.
This is a basic smoothie recipe that is perfect for tweaking in lots of different ways.
8 oz. low-fat vanilla or plain yogurt
1 large banana
1½ cups chopped pineapple, frozen
1½ cups frozen strawberries
2-3 tbsp. Chia seed
¼ cup milk
