Quite a few folks experiment blending fruits and vegetables in smoothies, I think it is just one of the reasons why smoothies continue to gain in popularity. This Spinach smoothie is a very good example. Not only is it very low in calories and high in nutrition, by adding orange, strawberries and banana, it tastes great too. If you are on any kind of smoothie diet this is a very good recipe to include.


2 handfuls spinach leaves
1 orange, peeled and sliced
1/2 banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup strawberries
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
Ice to taste (if you freeze the banana first, you won’t need as much ice)
1 Tbsp. Chia Seed
